Michael Dieudonne
Country General Manager and 6G-Sandbox Project Coordinator at Keysight Technologies
Michael Dieudonné is currently the Director/CGM of Keysight Technologies Belgium. He is also an R&D Department Manager of Keysight Laboratories and supervises research performed in different domains around 5G/6G wireless, network test, and high-frequency metrology. Over the years he initiated and led different initiatives such as test automation (OpenTAP.io), Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) test, the Internet of Things (IoT) test, battery test. He coordinates the 6G-SANDBOX SNS-JU project and is member of the 6G-IA Board. Over the years he has been active in various international projects, such as the EURAMET EMPIR MET5G Project (on 5G EMF), coordinated European Union (EU) SAMURAI Project defining early day multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques for 4G systems, and European Union-Horizon 2020 (EU-H2020) Triangle (test of application in a 5G context).
Dr. Chiung-Jang Chen
Managing Director of Chunghwa Telecom Wireless Communication Lab
Dr. Chiung-Jang Chen is the Managing Director of Chunghwa Telecom Wireless Communication Lab, where he is responsible for emerging / disruptive technologies R&D on E2E mobile communication infra technologies including Radio Access, Core, Network Management, and Network AI. Dr. Chen is an active participant in Industry Initiatives including NGMN (Board Director Alternate), 3GPP and O-RAN Alliance. He holds a Ph.D. degree in communication engineering from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. He received the CIEE outstanding young electrical engineer award in 2006 and IEEE Taipei section best impact award in 2010, and he is the author or a coauthor of more than 20 patent filings and more than 30 research papers.
Jeffrey Chen
General Manager, Greater China Wireless & Network Solutions Engineering Organization, Keysight
Jeffrey Chen leads the wireless and network solutions engineering teams, providing solution development, delivery, and support services in various wireless industries. The technologies involved includes 6G, 5G and 4G/3G/2G mobile communication, wireless infrastructures, Open RAN, wireless connectivity, Internet of Things, millimeter-wave communication, satellite communication, etc. These services cater to customers working with chipset IC and device designers, researchers, manufacturers, operators, and certification labs in the Greater China region.
Since 2016, Jeffrey has also held the position of Greater China Key Account CTO. In this role, he provides a broader perspective that encompasses design, simulation, the crucial aspects of test and measurement. This enables effective technical collaboration with major customers, ensuring seamless support throughout the entire process.
Jeffrey has obtained master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. He began his career in 1999 by joining Hewlett Packard Taiwan as a project and application engineer for system solutions.
Dr. Yao-Jen Tang
Technical Manager, ITRI
Dr. Yao-Jen Tang currently works at the Information and Communications Research Laboratories of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). He leads the team providing the service management and orchestration solution to the broad ICT industries in Taiwan. The developed technologies that he has involved include LTE broadcast, network planning tool, and 4G/5G network management system. Now, Yao-Jen and his team are working with the Intelligent Open RAN Management System Project with AI/ML and trying to make the network management easier to use and smarter than before.
John Calvin
Strategic Product Planner for High Performance Networking Technology, Keysight
John Calvin is a strategic planner and datacom technology lead for Keysight Technologies. John has been bridging the measurement science gaps of emerging Telecom and DataCom development efforts for 20 years. He has chaired multiple physical layer interoperability working groups and is currently serving as a contributing member to IEEE 802.3, OIF-CEI, InfiniBand, and PCIe development efforts. John holds a BSEE from Washington State University, and his graduate level studies are in signal processing from Stanford University.
Dr. Cheng Yi
Fellow and Chief Architect, SMI
Dr. Cheng Yi is Fellow and Chief Architect at Silicon Motion. He has 30 years of experience in ASIC design and architecture in telecom and storage industry. In recent 20 years he led architecture teams delivered multiple generations of architectures for high speed enterprise storage controllers including Host Bus Adaptor, RAID on Chip, SSD controllers, and interconnection ASIC like SAS controller and PCIe switch. He holds a Ph.D from Catholic University Leuven (Belgium).
Seung-Taek Chang
Automotive Solution Manager, Keysight
With over 19 years of industry experience, Seungtaek Chang is a solution expert offering consultation for effective test automation and test optimization in wireless technologies and has worked with customers on multiple projects, ranging from R&D to wireless device manufacturing. Seungtaek is currently an Automotive Solution Manager for the Automotive and Energy Solutions business segment in Keysight Technologies, and is responsible for the strategy and marketing management for connected car, eCall, V2X and infotainment test solutions.
