The sweep speed error has been decreased by a factor of 20 in worst case (Worst case is high speed, small range, e.g. sweep speed = 40nm/s, sweep span = 41pm). - The TLS firmware used to take into account a 70 ms measurement delay for the Power Meter. This delay has been removed. As a result of this change one will get slightly different lambda logging data than before, but the new data better reflects the wavelengths at each trigger point. - Lambda logging data accuracy has been further improved by compensating for sweep speed and modulation source. - Maximum number of lambda logging points for TLS increased from 16,001 to 100,001. - Support trigger rate of 40kHz. - TLS generated triggers are now (more) equidistant in time - New GPIB commands to better monitor/control the automatic Lambda Zero (See Manual for GPIB command syntax). - Requires Mainframe Software version V3.03 or higher V2.63 Mar 5 2001 13:08:25 -------------------------- Patch Release: - OCMdr00454 Increased accuracy of lambda logging data. - OCMdr00815 The real sweep speed is calculated from the sweep parameters by the DSP. This fix minimized the difference between sweep speed in UI and real sweep speed. - Changed behaviour Indefinite sweep switched on if sweep cycles is set to 0. (Caution: no auto lambda zero happens after a sweep is started and before it is stopped or finished, not even between cycles. This was always the case, but now a sweep may never stop.) - Additional Sweep Speeds added: 20 nm/s, 10 nm/s - Requires Mainframe Software version V2.53 or higher V2.51 Jul 21 2000 08:29:14 -------------------------- Maintenance release: - Minor bug fixes and enhancements - Requires Mainframe Software version V2.53 or higher V2.04 May 11 2000 13:08:00 -------------------------- Patch Release: - Internal enhancements for production process. No customer visible changes - Requires Mainframe Software version V2.02 or higher V2.02 Dec 14 1999 19:43:25 -------------------------- Major Release: - New Features - Lambda Logging during Continuous Sweep - Trigger Input - Laser Rise Time - Power Max Curve Support - All Fixes from V1.0 Patches plus Minor Defect Fixes - Requires Mainframe Software version V2.02 or higher V1.08 Oct 6 1999 12:46:19 -------------------------- Patch Release: - TZBdr02396 Elimination of potential side modes for the 81640A at higher wavelengths (> 1620.3 nm) - TZBdr02452 When internal modulation is on and the laser state is on, changing the output path from High Power to Low SSE or turning on/off Dark Position results in an "Out of Specification" Error Box.
