Whether you are working with systems, subsystems, subassemblies, or discrete devices, each of your components add noise that affects the overall performance of your receiver. By measuring and reducing noise figure, you can give your components a competitive edge.

The SNS Series of noise sources work in conjunction with the NFA Series of noise figure analyzers to simplify measurement set-up and improve accuracy and reliability.

When connected to the NFA Series analyzer the noise source automatically downloads the electronically stored calibration data to the analyzer, as well as automatically measuring its own temperature so that compensation can be applied to the calibration data.

This covers applications with a range of frequencies, Excess Noise Ratio (ENR) and coaxial connector types.
