This application includes a suite of configurable protocol-level searches and software-based triggering specific to 64b/66b and link training of Ethernet technologies such as 10GBASE-KR. The N8815A is the only tool that allows for 64b/66b decoding and link training in one package. Also, the decoder can decode link training using Differential Manchester Encoding (DME) to get detailed training frame information on control channels such as status update and coefficient update registers.

The multi-tab protocol viewer includes correlation between the waveforms and the selected packet, enabling you to quickly move between the physical and protocol layer information using the time-correlated tracking marker. The 64b/66b and link training decoder is compatible with 10GBASE-KR.
