Up to now there was no posibility to test short reach multimode electro-optical components right at the target wavelength of 850 nm.
This new multimode Lightwave Component Analyzer enables the test of all relevant electro-optical S-parameters, like S21 and S11 or S22 under multimode conditions.

Typical applications are S-parameter tests for short reach FCx8, FCx10 and FCx16 as well as 10GbE. Beside this popular standards this LCA enables also the test of ultra short reach electro-optical components for optical computer and server backplanes as well as chip to chip connections in future high end computers.
