The Keysight ESA-E series spectrum analyzers provide best-in-class general purpose spectrum analysis with built-in, one button, standards compliant, cable TV measurement capability in a mid-priced portable rugged package. This provides enhanced capability to meet your performance goals accurately, easily, and quickly in the most demanding environmental conditions.

Users familiar with the industry standard 8591C will recognize the measurement screens and menus in Option 227. With the 10 dB of dynamic range improvement over the 8591C, carrier-to-noise and CSO/CTB measurements can be made without the complexity of a bandpass filter.

The ESA-E series with Option 227 and additional options allow for ingress monitoring with a five millisecond sweep time and 40 measurements per second. Other key features included in the ESA are continuous background alignment, five-minute warm-up and a 5 dB step attenuator.

Option HSB for the ESA (models E4402B, E4405B or E4407B) provides 2.1 to 3.0 GHz LO output on rear panel for use with a TV sideband adapter such as the Tektronix® 1405 or the Aerodynex Television Sideband Adapter (ATSA). Please contact each respective company for questions on the sideband adapter products used. Option HSB now includes features of Option IDN, tracking generator, so it is not necessary to order Option 1DN for this functionality.

Option J36 enables the ESA-E Series to measure the frequency deviation of an FM signal with one-button FM deviation measurements. Option J36 requires Option BAA, FM demodulation. Option J36 download information.
