The 70110A digital multimeter is a 2-slot MMS module specifically designed for ATE environments. A complete set of math functions allows data manipulation by the DMM instead of by your controller. The basic DC accuracy is 5 ppm, and common mode rejection is greater than 90 dB (up to 180 dB guarded and 166 dB guard-to-low). All functions, including switching to guard to the low and switching between front and rear inputs, are accessible using SCPI-compatible remote commands. Specialized signals (voltmeter complete and external trigger) used in ATE systems to synchronize fast measurements with external multiplexers are available on the rear panel. An electronic Auto Cal, taking less than 30 seconds without an external source, is used to meet 24 hour specifications. When calibration to an external standard is required, a security code allows you to enable the calibration routines. This electronic key, plus a system which tracks the number of calibrations performed, protects against calibration tampering.
