Current and Differential Sensor

The Current and Differential Sensors are dedicated accessories for the CX3300 series Device Current Waveform Analyzer. Each current sensor has different measurement features and specifications such as the measurement range, maximum and minimum measurable current, maximum bandwidth, common mode voltage, etc.

The CX1101A current sensor enables wide dynamic range current measurements from 40 nA to 1 A and meets various low power device measurement needs. Using the CX1206A sensor head, you can measure current up to 10 A. The CX120x series sensor head provides a variety of DUT connectivity to this current sensor.

The CX1102A current sensor is suitable for charctarization and validation for low power devices used in IoT applications that operate with repeative sleep and active modes. The dual channel design can expand the dynamic range up to 100 dB. The CX120x series sensor head provides a variety of DUT connectivity for this current sensor.

The CX1103A current sensor can measure dynamic current with up to 200 MHz bandwidth, making it suitable for semiconductor and advanced memory device characterization. This sensor can be used for ground current sensing, which means it measures dynamic current flowing into the ground.

The CX1104A current sensor uses one of 6 accurate resistive shunt resistors (CX121x series) calibrated at Keysight and is suitable for PDN (Power Delivery Network or Power Distribution Network) characterization and validation for IoT and mobile devices. Since the resistance of these resistive sensor head is quite small (from 5.5 mΩ), you can minimize the voltage drop across the sensor.

The CX1105A differential sensor enables non-intrusive, up to 100 MHz bandwidth and low noise dynamic current measurement up to 100 A. It measures differential voltage across a shunt resistor on your evaluation or test boards and converts the measured dynamic voltage into current waveform in the CX3300 mainframe. The industry-lowest noise sensing technology allows you to measure dynamic current from 1 μA to 100 A.
