With upgrading, DO NOT install this version unless you have one previous version installed first. If you skip versions during BIOS upgrade, the M9537A may result in not powering up after the install.


DO NOT downgrade BIOS. Downgrading BIOS will cause unforeseen issue as each version of BIOS is match with specific version of ME firmware and specific windows patches. Please contact Keysight at www.keysight.com/find/contactus if you have the need to downgrade the BIOS.

Keysight recommends using the most current version, which includes the most up-to-date bug fixes and security patches available.

NOTE: There is not a way to downgrade the M9537A BIOS to older version after you upgraded to SL07.

The M9537A SL07 BIOS has these changes:

  1. Update microcode (from BA to C6) to fix INTEL-SA-00115.
  2. Update ME from 11.8.50.3399 to 11.8.55.3510 to fix INTEL-SA-00125 and INTEL-SA-00141.
  3. Change "Hot Plug Support in DOS" setting (vbios) from Enable to Disable.
  4. Change "Holdoff timer" item range from 0~8 to 0~60 second.
  5. Change "CPU C states" item from Enable to Disable.

  1. PCIE CLKREQ Mapping Override from "Default" to "No CLKREQ", disable the PCI CLKREQ.
  2. Fixed BIOS post screen has noise (random) in WIN10 reboot.
  3. Update ME from 11.0.0.1205 to 11.8.50.3399.
  4. Fix "No battery is detected" message in WIN7.
  5. Change "SATA Speed selection" from Gen2 to Gen3.
  6. Remove NVME from OS BOOT selection
