1. Open command prompt.
  2. Point to the directory of the firmware files (.exe) where it located. The firmware files name format is “M9157_A_00_01.exe”.
  3. Then type in the command, example: M9157_A_00_01 PXI23::12::0::INSTR. The module’s VISA address can be obtained from Keysight Connection Expert or Soft Front Panel.
  4. Restart the instrument after the firmware upgrade is completed.
     
Keysight recommends using the most current version, which includes the most up-to-date bug fixes and security patches available.
