E5070A ENA Series RF Network Analyzer, 300 kHz to 3 GHz Firmware Update

1. Click on the "E5070A Firmware Revision X.XX" listed below the page. Copy the file(.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the files by selecting the temporary directory and unzip the .exe file by double-clicking on the file.
3. Click the "Firmware update" listed below the page. The procedure to update the firmware will appear.
4. Copy the files to four floppy disks using your computer's FDD and install the new firmware into the E5070A in accordance with the procedure.

Download Instruction for Power On Test Limit for firmware 3.62 user

After updating Firmware to 3.62, the E5070A may fail the power-on self test when the new source assembly E5071-66571 is installed if the power-on test limit file is not installed properly. In this case, it is required to re-install the power on test limit based on the following step.

1. Click on the "Power On test limit" listed below the page. Copy the file (PowerOnTest.csv) to a floppy disk.
2. Copy the Power On test limit file to the directory D:\Keysight\Service of the E5070A. (Windows Explorer can be opened by pressing [Save/Recall] hard key, then "Explorer" softkey.)

1. Click on the "Internal/External Test" listed below the page. Copy the file(.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the files by selecting the temporary directory and unzip the .exe file by double-clicking on the file.
3. Click the "Test update procedure". The procedure to update the Internal/ External test will appear.
4. Copy the files to a floppy disk using your computer's FDD and update the Internal/External test of the E5070A in accordance with the procedure.

Download Instructions for E5091A USB Driver Software

The E5070A with the following serial numbers is required to install the E5091A USB Driver Software for using the E5091A with it.

Serial numbers: JP1KJ00100 through 111

This installation is not required if the driver has already been installed into the E5070A.

1. Click on the "E5091A USB Driver" listed below the page. Copy the file(.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
2. Extract the files by selecting the temporary directory and unzip the .exe file by double-clicking on the file.
3. Click the "E5091A USB Driver Installation". The procedure to install the E5091A USB Driver will appear.
4. Copy the files to a floppy disk using your computer's FDD and install the driver into the E5070A in accordance with the procedure.
