Keysight i3070 Latest Software Release

Keysight is introducing the latest software 10.30p release for i3070 system, which will be supported on both Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. The other new features include:

ICT-230          i3070 software will be supported on Window 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise.
ICT-151            Board Consultant will allow the flipping the DUT in board placement.
ICT-250          BTI: New feature to launch a test by selecting the test name in the testplan.
ICT-189           BTI: During testhead booting, show the booting progress in a pop-up window.
ICT-164           BTI: Ability to create tests within a variant (Version) without ECO process.
ICT-141            BTI: Ability to change panel-level color attributes.

This software release can be installed on i3070 test systems and test development workstations running
Windows 10 or Windows 11 as specified above. No new licenses are needed if the current software is
10.xx version.

• New ControlXTPB card firmware (version 21042216_1) to fix shorts test failure and DGN errors in Unmux systems. (ICT-163/ICT-166)
• i3070 online help is supported on multiple browsers: Microsoft Edge, Firefox (3+), Chrome (1+) and Internet Explorer (10+). (ICT-88)

• DUT Power supply Updates
  Additional slew rate option for N67xx Power Supplies for matching different circuitry performance characteristics (CR568764).
  
  
• BT-Basic Updates
  “baseline” command has been improved to allow user to specify the exact file to report changes (CR568853).

• XTPB Control Card Updates
  Firmware has been updated for improved stability in digital testing (CR580873)  

• Others

1. MKS upgraded to version 10.2 for Win 10 OS supportability (CR574278).
   
2. Upgraded the Keysight IO to version 18.1.24715.0
   
   
   

Highlights of the i3070 10.00p software release:

1. Supports the latest Control XTPB card with better test efficiency. Over 40% faster Boundary Scan, Silicon Nails and dynamic flash programming testing and more than 6% faster overall testing on most PCBAs.
2. The modern, spreadsheet-like Board Test Insight (BTI) debug interface now supports both light and dark themes to meet different user preference.
3. Automation Enabler supports IPC-2591 Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) and IPC-9852 HERMES. Both are industrial standards in machine-to-machine (M2M) communication protocols, available to you at no extra cost.
4. New license structure allows software features to be shared among testers via centralized license management, and improves scalability to meet production demand.

The i3070 09.20p software release requires a 09.00p software update license. Users can still access the same features with their existing basic testhead and feature licenses.
The new software update license is automatically distributed to customers under subscription. It can be redeemed at www.keysight.com/find/softwaremanager.
