Genesys TestLink brings the accuracy of the measurement world directly into the simulation environment, without instrument programming or manual re-entry. TestLink enables first-pass design practices with accurate models and statistics, and also enables real-time engineering in the lab environment, for modeling, matching, troubleshooting, and documentation/verification.

Genesys Testlink Supports Over 140 Instrument Families from 15 Manufacturers

Genesys TestLink supports over 140 instrument families of Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Modulation/Vector Signal Analyzers from 15 different manufacturers. For a complete list of supported instrument families, refer to Genesys Accessories - Testlink Supported Instruments.

TestLink brings measurement accuracy directly into the design environment

What can I do with Genesys TestLink?

  • Enhance your simulation accuracy. Use real data models for SMT parts and transistors
  • Enhance your measurement accuracy. De-embed fixture errors using Genesys
  • Create equivalent circuit models. Gain design insights through model parasitics
  • Create matching networks for measured Antennas and Power FETs, directly in the lab environment
  • Do realistic statistical distributions. Measure data from multiple devices to capture the effect of partially-correlated parameters in your circuit or system
  • Capture system-level responses for use in Spectrasys
  • Save time. Directly compare measured vs. modeled without programming using convenient Genesys data displays and LiveReport

All RF simulation results from physical models ultimately derive from the accuracy of the measurements used to verify them. By directly using real data in your simulations, your design efforts can form a closed loop of prediction and verification that improves over time, and eventually providing design closure and first-pass success. This creates a competitive advantage for your company, and your customers.

How is Genesys TestLink available?

For engineers who need design capability in the lab, TestLink is included in the following Genesys bundles:

Genesys TestLink interacts with what other modules besides Genesys Core?

  • Genesys Core benefits the most from TestLink, because of the S-parameter modeling capabilities
  • Links to spectrum analyzers allow for direct comparison of measured spectrums with simulated nonlinear results from Harbec and Spectrasys. TestLink can also capture a wideband frequency spectrum for use as a user-defined wideband source in Spectrasys.
  • Links to oscilloscopes allow for comparison of measured waveforms with Cayenne, and for signal integrity comparisons.
