How do I find the HOST ID of my instrument or PC?
Keysight software options are licensed to many different types of hardware using a unique hardware identifier called the Host ID. The Host ID is composed of 1, 2 or 3 elements, depending upon the software model and the target hardware platform.

The software is licensed to the controller PC. The PC’s internal serial number can be found by running Keysight License Manager software from the Start menu. (Start > All Programs > Keysight > Keysight License Manager > Keysight License Manager). Special Note for server configurations: Signal Studio with SystemVue can support floating licenses (Server based). If you purchased a floating license, you should use the internal serial number from the Server PC (not the Client PC) to form the Host ID for your Signal Studio software license. |
