Do I need a keyboard and mouse to operate the X-Series Signal Analyzers?

No. However, since this is a Windows-based instrument, it is easier to navigate various windows using a mouse. Additionally, there are certain measurement applications that increase efficiency by having a mouse.

A USB keyboard can be purchased one of three ways:

1. Purchasing as a model/option (N9000AK-KYB, N9000AK-KB2, N9010AK-KYB, N9010AK-KB2, N9020AK-KYB, N9020AK-KB2, N9030AK-KYB, N9030AK-KB2)
2. Purchasing item number 0960-2615 (KYB equivalent) or 5188-4463 (KB2 equivalent)

3. Purchasing item number 5188-4463 (KB2 equivalent)

A USB mouse can also be purchased one of two ways:

1. Purchasing as a model/option (N9000AK-MSE, N9010AK-MSE, N9020AK-MSE, N9030AK-MSE)

Here are a few simple tips that can be used to navigate through the analyzer windows without a keyboard or mouse:

• Press [Menu (Alt)], [Tab] forward or backward to move between windows
• Pressing [Tab] forward or backward allows you to move from various fields within a window
• Pressing the [Arrow] keys enables parameters within a field to be selected
• Once a selection has been made, press either [Enter] key
• Press [Alt-Select] for the control menu bar
