How can previously created data in BenchLink II be exported?

Use the following procedure to export previously stored data in a Text (.txt) file or Comma Separated values (.csv) file. For a more detailed procedure, see the "Exporting Previously Created Data in BenchLink II" link below.

1. Go to step 1-a if BenchLink is not open; go to step 1-b if already open.

1a. BenchLink is not open: Open BenchLink II in the “Simulation” mode. Select the “Open an existing configuration file” option button. Continue with step 2.

1b. BenchLink II is open: Select "File>Open" from the menu.

If you do not want to save the current configuration, click on “No” on the “Save Current Configuration” message box. Otherwise click on “Yes” and follow the instructions. Continue with step 2.

2. Click on the “Browse” button in the “Existing Setup” dialog.

3. Select the configuration file to be opened and then click on the “Open” button in the “Open an existing configuration file” dialog.

4. Make sure the configuration file has a DataSet available, as shown in the “Existing Setup” dialog under the “Data Set Available” column. Select the DataSet you wish to export and then click on “OK”. If no DataSet is listed, open a different configuration file with data.

5. Click on “OK” in the “Configure Instruments” dialog.

6. Wait for the “Data Browser” to pop up. Select "File>Export Data...".

7. Select the data to be exported, like the channels, scan number, time stamp, etc. in the "Export Data Settings" dialog box.

8. Click on the "Save" button to save the data in a Text (.txt) file; click on the "Save As" button to select either a Text (.txt) file or Comma Separated values (.csv) file.

10. Select a file name and folder in the "Save File" dialog, then click on the "Save" button to export the file.
