35670A: How do I port 35670A screen images to the PC?

Using the HP-GL Plotter as a Plot/Print Device, either plot the screen images using Plot/Print Destination as "Output to file" or use PrintCapture* with Plot/Print Destination as "Output to Serial".

If you choose to plot the screen image to the floppy disk make the Default Disk as floppy Disk by going into <Disk Utility>[Default disk][Internal Disk]. Make the Plot/Print Destination as "Output to file". When the screen is plotted, it will be saved to the floppy disk in the HPGL format. This file can be inserted into Microsoft Word as a picture, provided the HPGL filter is available in your Word application. If you do not have an HPGL filter, then you can obtain this filter by downloading it from the Microsoft webpage. Search for "hpgl32.exe", download it and follow the instructions to install the HPGL filter. Microsoft is located at: www.microsoft.com.

The PrintCapture program, provided by F&F SoftTools, allows for transfer of screen images to the PC over the Serial (RS-232) interface. For information about PrintCapture program and to download an evaluation copy, please visit www.printcapture.com.

*Keysight is not affiliated to F&F SoftTools that provides the PrintCapture program.
