How do I remotely program my Keysight X-Series, ESA/PSA Series Signal Analyzer to transfer binary block trace data in Visual Basic 6?

Description:
The example program bintrace.bas, is writtten for the X-Series, PSA, and ESA Signal Analyzers. The program queries the IDN string from the instrument and then reads the trace data in binary block data formats (Real,32 or Real,64 or Int,32).

MXA, EXA, ESA, or PSA Series Spectrum Analyzer

Procedure:
Set the GPIB address of the instrument to address 18. Connect the GPIB cable and execute program. The binary trace data will be saved to a file named bintrace.txt in your working directory.
