By changing the default number of FFTs segments to 5 and upgrading to the 14 bit digital IF (E4406A only) you can substantially improve your results.

Similarly in the PSA Series, by increasing the number of FFT segments to 5, you will see an improvement of approximately 4 dB.

The Number of FFTs can be set under the Offset Advance Menu.
