Replacing the 8508A vector voltmeter with the E5061B network analyzer

Measuring the phase difference of an external CW signals is a typical measurement application of the 8508A vector voltmeter. The following document describes how to perform this VVM measurement with the E5061B ENA Series network analyzer. Unlike the E5061A/E5062A, the port-2/port-1 ratio is calculated with the E5061B's equation editor function. So the VVM emulating VBA program is not necessary.
