How do I get passed the "SIMON" upgrade error?

  1. Press and hold the 'Recall' key.
  2. Power-cycle the signal generator.
  3. Release the 'Recall' key only when the last line of text on the instrument screen reads "Ready for TFTP, GPIB or RS232 upload”. At this point, the last line should read, "Ready for TFTP, GPIB or RS232 upload”.
  4. Check the "Recover Failed Upgrade" checkbox and try again.
