Why is the battery life of the U1253B Handheld Digital Multimeter (DMM) typically shorter than the battery life of the U1251B/U1252B?

The battery life of the U1253B Handheld Digital Multimeter (DMM) is typically shorter than that of the U1251B/U1252B because the default display brightness of the U1253B is set to the highest level which leads to higher power consumption. The display contrast ratio of the U1253B is 100 times more than the U1251B/U1252B.

To prolong the battery life, you may reduce the display brightness setting by pressing the brightness level keypad. Moreover, you can also recharge and reuse the battery once it has been exhausted since a Ni-MH rechargeable battery and a battery charger are included with the U1253B upon purchase.
