What benefits can I get by replacing the 4286A with the 4287A?

Generally, there are four major benefits you can get from this replacement:

1) Extended high frequency range

The 4287A can measure over the extensive frequency range from 1 MHz to 3 GHz beyond the maximum frequency (1 GHz) of the 4286A.

2) Better measurement accuracy under low OSC level

When the test signal level is low, the 4287A has better measurement accuracy than the 4286A.

3) Shorter measurement Time

The maximum measurement speed of the 4287A is 9 ms/point, which is 6 ms faster than that of the 4286A.

4) LAN Interface

LAN interface is available for the 4287A.
