How Should Open Compensation Be Performed on the 16034E/G/H?

Answer

Locate the High and Low side contact pins the same distance apart as the length of the DUT by using the following procedure. Then perform open measurement.

1. Loosen the screw which fastens the High side contact pin.
2. Insert DUT between the contact pins.
3. Adjust the High side contact pin so that it touches the DUT with a minimum contact pressure.
4. Fasten the High side contact pin with the screw.
5. Pull the Low side lever to the left and remove the DUT.
6. Release the Low side lever. The distance between the contact pins should be same as the length of the DUT now.
7. Perform open measurement.
