Can the 16453A be used with LCR meters or impedance analyzers other than the E4991A?

The 16453A can only be used with the E4991A and 4291A/B, which have material measurement firmware (Option 002). The optional firmware is required to compensate the permittivity measurement values for the fringe capacitance effects of the unguarded parallel electrodes. Without the firmware, which has been installed in E4991A-002 or 4291A/B-002, permittivity measurement cannot be made correctly.
