What is embedded software versus Signal Studio software?
Signal Studio software resides and runs on your PC. Multiple application specific Signal Studio software packages are available to create different types of test signals. Signal Studio features an intuitive graphical user interface to configure test signals. License keys are required to generate signals created using the Signal Studio software.
Embedded software resides and runs on the vector signal generator. It features a table based user interface to configure test signals directly from the instrument front panel. Embedded software is contained within the signal generator firmware. The latest enhancements to all embedded software applications are automatically updated when the newest signal generator firmware is installed. License keys are required to generate signals created using the embedded software.
