How do I know which system interconnect cable set I need for an N9039A RF Preselector?
There are three different sets of system interconnect cables available for use with the PSA and N9039A RF Preselector systems. Which one will be needed for a particular system, as well as what N9039A input connector option should be ordered, will depend on what input connector type the PSA has.
Both the PSA and the N9039A have different front panel RF connector options. They are:
PSA Input Connectors:
- Type-N - Standard on the E4440A, E4443A, and E4445A
- 3.5mm - Available only on the E4440A with Option BAB
- 2.4mm - Standard on the E4446A, E4447A, and E4448A
N9039A Front Panel RF Connectors:
- Type-N - Standard on the N9039A
- 3.5mm - Available for the RF Input and RF Out with Option BAB
Which System Interconnect Cable Set To Use:
When using a PSA with a Type-N input connector an N9039A with the Type-N connectors is required. With this configuration you will want to use the N9039A-019 interconnect cable set. The contents of the Option N9039A-019 interconnect cable set are:

When using a PSA with a 3.5mm input connector an N9039A with option BAB (3.5mm connectors) is required. With this configuration you will want to use the N9039A-027 system interconnect cable set. The contents of the Option N9039A-027 interconnect cable set are:

If replacement cables are needed you will have to order them individually using the part numbers listed. The interconnect cables are not sold as a set other than at the time of the N9039A RF Preselector purchase.
* "Stacked" is when the equipment is stacked one on top of the other with the feet still attached, while "Racked" is when the equipment is mounted in an equipment rack with the feet removed. The "Stacked" cables are just a little bit longer than the "Racked" cables.
