How do I display the mixer conversion loss of M1970 Series or M1971 Series Harmonic Mixer on an X-Series Signal Analyzer?
There is no way to display the conversion loss values from these mixers on screen. There is a hard copy of the conversion loss data supplied with each mixer that can be referenced.

For my UXA Signal Analyzer, what applications support option H1G (1 GHz Analysis Bandwidth) and what additional functionality does it provide?
Option H1G also includes the B2X digitizer. Therefore, option H1G is supported by all applications that support B2X up to at least 255 MHz bandwidth. Option H1G additionally provides 1 GHz analysis bandwidth for some other measurement applications.

If we use external clocks for both the Pattern Generator and Error Detector parts, can we run them at different data rates?
It would be more straight-forward to provide the PG (TX) with a 10 GHz clock (for 10 Gb/s data) and then use the 1:4 demux and provide the ED (RX) with a 2.5 GHz clock (measuring 2.5 Gb/s data). Click on the question for additional information.
