Challenges & Solutions for V2X Communications Testing Webcast

Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) with V2X capabilities offer long-range situational awareness for communications with other vehicles and the infrastructure for increased vehicle performance and safety. This webcast will review the measurement requirements and test challenges to comply with the technical status and standards of Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) of V2X technology. In addition, we will cover real world scenario testing using various channel emulation systems for complicated V2X RF environments.

Ken graduated in 1985 with an M.Eng. in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. A member of the IET and a Chartered Engineer, Ken has fulfilled a variety of roles in R&D and Marketing in wireless/RF engineering and test equipment, joining Hewlett Packard in 1994. He has represented Keysight at IEEE802, Wi-Fi Alliance, OmniAir, and C2C Forum.

 

Jukka Pahkala
Virtual Drive Testing (VDT) Product Manager

Jukka is based in Oulu, Finland with the Propsim R&D and manufacturing team. Jukka graduated in 2007 with an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Oulu. Before joining Keysight, he was responsible for traffic sensor applications and has over 10 years of experience from the test and measurement industry. Jukka is responsible for VDT product planning for mobile and automotive industries. VDT allows realistic lab testing by combining channel emulation and network emulation solutions together with drive test tools.
