On the Keysight NFA Series of Noise Figure Analyzers is it possible to query the RF attenuator range while in the auto range mode?

The command to query the Keysight NFA RF attenuator while in the auto ranging mode is:

DIAG:BLU:RF:RANG?

The command will return a value of:

  • 0 for 0 dB attenuation
  • 1 for 5 dB attenuation
  • 2 for 10 dB attenuation
  • 3 for 15 dB attenuation
  • 4 for 20 dB attenuation
  • 5 for 25 dB attenuation
  • 6 for 30 dB attenuation
  • 7 for 35 dB attenuation
  • 8 for 40 dB attenuation

This command is not documented in either the Noise Figure Analyzers NFA Series User’s Guide or within the Noise Figure Analyzers NFA Series Programmer’s Reference.
