Mike Barnard is a Hardware R&D Engineer in the Keysight Technologies Microwave and Communications Division in Santa Rosa, California. He has over 24 years of experience in the A/D and test and measurement communities. Mike has been with the company for 14 years, working mostly in the area of DSP and FPGA design. Dan Dunn,
General Manager
RF/Microwave Handheld Instruments


Dan Dunn is General Manager at Keysight Technologies Component Test Division (CTD) responsible for worldwide RF and microwave handheld instruments. He joined Keysight Technologies (Hewlett-Packard) in 1995 as an antenna systems engineer. Dan has held various leadership positions at Keysight including worldwide CTD marketing manager, global sales manager, product marketing manager and product manager for the 8510 and PNA network analyzer families. Dan earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Central Florida and attended executive education at Harvard University.

Joel Dunsmore,
Senior Solution Architect

Since graduating from Oregon State University with an MSEE (1983), Joel Dunsmore has worked for Keysight Technologies (formerly Hewlett-Packard) at the Sonoma County Site. He received his Ph.D. from Leeds University in 2004. In 2008 he was promoted to the rank of Keysight R&D Fellow, working for the Component Test Division. He was a principle contributor to the HP 8753 and PNA family of network analyzers, responsible for RF and Microwave circuit designs in these products. Recently, he has worked in the area of non-linear test including differential devices, and mixer measurements. He has received 24 patents related to this work, and recently authored the “Handbook of Microwave Component Measurements”. He co-taught an RF course at the University of California, Berkeley, and presented several short courses and seminars through ARFTG, MTT, Keysight

Giovanni D'Amore,
Market Development Manager

Giovanni D’Amore is Market Development Manager at Keysight Technologies EMEA based in The Netherlands. Giovanni joined Hewlett-Packard in 1999, as an Application Engineer providing technical support for RF & microwave instruments like network and spectrum Analyzer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Since 2005 he was part of Keysight’s marketing organization responsible, first, for parametric test instruments. Matthew Ozalas obtained his MSEE and MBA from Arizona State University in 2010. From 2001 to 2005, he worked as part of the Advanced Wireless Department at the Mitre Corporation where he did RFIC and Power Amplifier Design. From 2005-2013, he worked at Skyworks Solutions in the Santa Rosa Design Center, designing and developing high volume multiband power amplifier and front end modules for wireless handsets. He joined Keysight EEsof in 2013 as an Application Developer.

Suren Singh,
Mm-wave and THz Application specialist

Suren Singh received his BSEE from University of Durban-Westville, Durban South Africa in 1985. He completed a Graduate Diploma at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa in December 1992. He then went on to complete his MSEE at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1995. Suren has been with the Hewlett-Packard Company and now Keysight Technologies since 1986. His experience at Keysight includes application engineering, product design, manufacturing and test process development for microwave hybrid microcircuits. He currently holds the position of an application specialist business manager focused on the terahertz measurement solutions. In addition he is responsible for the metrology products for performance network analyzers, including both calibration and verification.

Roland Marquardt, based in Germany is Market Development Manager EMEA for Keysight Technologies’ Software & Modular Solutions Division.
Roland joined HP/Keysight 1980 and has held a variety of positions in production and test engineering, test engineering management, application engineering, project management and business development with main responsibilities on recommending and providing test systems, test applications and turnkey test solutions to customers.

Prior to joining the newly formed Keysight Modular Business in 2010, Roland was Business Development Manager for Wireless and Automotive Test Systems within Keysight’s Systems Business in EMEA.
