How can I determine what CPU shipped with my X-Series Signal Analyzer?

Over the years, there have been (to date) seven different CPU's available for the X-Series Signal Analyzers.  Only the EXA, however, has used all seven; the MXA has used only four, the PXA only three, and NFA one.

If you kow the serial number of the analyzer, you can determine what CPU would have shipped as standard with the anlayzer.  We emphasize "standard" because the EXA has had options to substitue the low cost standard CPU with a higher performance CPU.

For the EXA, if the standard CPU was either PC1 or PC3, the optional CPU would have been PC2.  If the standard CPU was PC5, the optional CPU would be PC4.  If the standard CPU was PC7, the optional CPU would be PC6.
