Fangyi RaoKeysight Technolgies' Fangyi Rao recently received the prestigious "EPEPS Best Paper Award" at the IEEE conference on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging and Systems (EPEPS) 2012 for his paper “Frequency Domain Analysis of Jitter Amplification in Clock Channels”, co-authored with Sammy Hindi, a technical leader at Juniper Networks.

Fangyi Rao received his Ph.D. degree in physics from Northwestern University in 1997. He joined Keysight EEsof EDA in 2006 as a Senior Development Engineer, where he worked on Analog/RF and Signal Integrity (SI) simulation technologies in Advanced Design System (ADS) and RF Design Environment (RFDE). From 2003 to 2006 Fangyi was with Cadence Design Systems, where he made key contributions to the company's Harmonic Balance technology and perturbation analysis of nonlinear circuits. Prior to 2003 he worked in the areas of electromagneitc (EM) simulation, nonlinear device modeling, and optimization.

Congratulations to both Fangyi Rao and Sammy Hindi on a job well done.
