RedCap (Reduced Capability) 5G is a new category of mid-performance 5G devices. This demo shows how to automate advanced security testing and improve the robustness of wireless devices and network with Keysight’s IoT security solution and the new 5G network emulator optimized for RedCap testing.

Combining NTN gNB emulation (UXM) and NTN UE emulation (UeSIM), under satellite emulation scenarios (PROPSIM), Keysight’s NTN testbed can apply timing and Doppler pre-compensation, use extended hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ), and measure device-under-test block error ratio (BLER) and throughput.

We’ll use Eggplant Intelligent Automation to test an 5G Hololens augmented reality (AR) / virtual reality (VR) device user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). In this demo, the device connects to a UXM 5G wireless test platform to test application scenarios with the functional test application (FTA).

In this demo, learn how to run RF and protocol tests to On-board unit (OBU) and Road-side unit (RSU) certification for Dedicated short-range communications (DSRC). Using the UXM 5G wireless test platform and WaveBee tool chain, we’ll create complex scenario with congestion testing for C-V2X.

Energy efficiency is a top network operator priority, fueled by increasing electricity prices, sustainability concerns, and traffic growth. Optimizing energy consumption without impacting the end-user experience requires cross-domain energy and performance KPIs, coupled with energy saving mechanisms and intelligent control from RAN to core.

This demo introduces Keysight's new wrap-around test solution for O-RAN massive MIMO and MIMO radio unit (O-RU) testing. We’ll show how to test downlink and uplink instantly, single-user and multi-user massive MIMO RF beam shape / weight measurements, or specific RF parametric measurements on 8TR/16TR/32TR/64TR radios.

The digital twins demo will use the power consumption model as a proof of concept of what is needed to make high-fidelity twins for analyzing energy efficiency.

The 6G AI air interfaces demo shows how to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) technologies into the new air interface for 6G.

This demo, at 142 GHz shows 5Gsym/sec with 64 QAM, resulting in an effective 32 Gbps data rate. Keysight’s exclusive capability allows for 1.5% EVM across the resulting 5 GHz bandwidth. Developed specifically for 6G, this proprietary technology and measurement science allows researchers to know exactly what is happening in their foundational designs.

This demo showcases how to validate and diagnose 5G private networks, using a combination of Keysight solutions such as the new Nemo industry probe for active monitoring of Industry 4.0, FieldFox with its wide frequency and bandwidth coverage for field testing and site acceptance, and WaveJudge lite for full-stack audit of the air interface.
