E6000C / E6000B Floppy Upgrade to Rev. 6.21
This directory contains the images of the Keysight E6000B/C Series OTDRs firmware update diskettes and language update diskettes.
Firmware
To create a floppy update disk of the firmware perform the following steps:
- prepare a blank, formatted 1.44MB floppy disk.
- insert it into your PC's floppy disk drive (e.g. A:)
- at the MS-DOS prompt type "copydisk img1.img a:"
Note the disk number on the disk and repeat the above steps for the second disk and the third disk (img2.img, img3.img).

Languages
To create a language update disk follow the above procedure using lang1.img, lang2.img or lang3.img, lang4.img.
You only need to create a language update disk if you want to install a language from this disk.
The following list shows which languages are on which disk:
- lang1.img: English, German, French, Italian, Turkish
- lang2.img: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Russian
- lang3.img: English, Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, Korean
- lang4.img: English, Finnish, Romanian
To install a new language enter the Instrument Configuration
Screen and select the Firmware/Language Update Screen (Page 6 of 6).
