This program sets the 34401A for 10 DCV measurements on the 10V range with a 1 second delay between the measurements. The measurements are started with BUS trigger (i.e., software trigger). The program also checks the instrument id to make sure there is communication between the computer and instrument.
For GPIB, the program uses the registers to determine when the measurements complete.
This program uses the Agilent VISA COM objects to program the instrument.
To use the IO object in another Visual Basic project, set the reference to
add the appropriate libraries in the Project/References menu and Com tab:
