IntuiLink Control: 34980A Taking a Thermocouple Measurement Read Me

This Excel Macro (Visual Basic) program sets the 34980A for 2 simple scans that make both DCV and type J thermocouple temperature measurements.

This Excel Macro (Visual Basic) program sets the 34980A for 2 simple scans that make both DCV and type J thermocouple temperature measurements. The program also checks the instrument and module identification to make sure there is communication between the 34980A and the computer, and the correct module is installed. The returned data is entered into a list box.

This program requires a 34921A or 34925A module.

This program uses the Agilent 3494A control to program the instrument. The control is supplied by the Agt3494A.ocx file that comes with the IntuiLink for Multimeter software.

The program was developed in Microsoft Visual Basic version 6.3 for Excel.
