When designing circuits to work at 6G frequencies up to 250 GHz, process variations in geometry and material characteristics can cause frequency and impedance shifts to mess up your design.
EM simulators can easily perform parametric sweeps of material properties such as permittivity and physical geometry such as dielectric thickness. This enables you to quickly check how process variations may adversely shift the operating frequency of your design so that you can account for it before hardware fabrication.
