Agilent General vTools 1.1 Readme


Agilent General vTools 1.1 are extension objects that are targeted to work with VEE 9.3.  As such, Agilent General vTools 1.1 cannot be installed on PCs that do not have VEE 9.3 installed.

Agilent General vTools 1.1 are targeted for the following VEE platform, namely:

Please note that to install Agilent General vTools 1.1, at least one of the supported VEE platform stated above must present on the PC.  Installation will be aborted if none found.

Installing the Software

The following describes the installation procedure of Agilent General vTools.

  1. Verify that your PC meets all the minimum requirements listed under System Requirements.
  2. Follow the instructions on your screen to proceed with the software installation.
  3. At Setup Type dialog,
    • Select Complete to install General vTools for all installed VEE (Pro/RunTime/Student). Click Next to proceed.
    • Select Custom to install General vTools for individual installed VEE (Pro/RunTime/Student). Click Next to proceed.
  4. Please proceed with the installation and click Finish when the installation has completed.


Uninstall the Software

The following describes the uninstallation procedure of Agilent General vTools.

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select Agilent General vTools 1.1 and click Remove.
  4. Click Yes to uninstall the software.

Known Issues

Listed below are the known software issues of this release:

  1. SAD00419972 - Reporting Graph - when two marker lines are exactly stacked together at the same value, both marker lines will be moved together when they are dragged.
  2. SAD00413018 - Reporting Graph – no line will be drawn if only 1 point is input into the graph.
  3. SAD00362927 - No undo operation for vTools object that is drag and drop to VEE workspace.
  4. SAD00431953 - vTools objects did not invoke ModifiedSet if changes were made during program execution.
