Ron Nersesian has been president and chief executive officer of Keysight since the company’s inception as an independent public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. Prior to Keysight’s separation from Agilent, Ron served as Agilent’s president and chief operating officer and before that held a variety of leadership roles, including leading the company’s electronic measurement business. Earlier in his career, Ron worked for the Hewlett-Packard Company, Agilent’s predecessor. Ron holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business. He also serves as an independent director on the Board of Directors of Trimble Inc. and as a member of Georgia Tech's Advisory Board.

Guy Kawasaki is the chief evangelist of Canva, an online graphic design tool. He is a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz and an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley). He was the chief evangelist of Apple and a trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation. He is also the author of Wise Guy, The Art of the Start 2.0, The Art of Social Media, Enchantment, and eleven other books. Kawasaki has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA as well as an honorary doctorate from Babson College.

Jay Alexander leads Keysight's central technology development team to focus on top opportunities and market trends to address unmet needs. His role is to optimize Keysight resources to grow in areas that provide a competitive advantage and to leverage Keysight's world-class technology and platform offerings. Jay earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds 24 US patents and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Mark Pierpoint

Senior Vice President, President, Ixia Solutions Group

Mark Pierpoint is senior vice president of Keysight Technologies, and president of Keysight's Ixia Solutions Group which provides network test and visibility solutions for validating, optimizing and securing networks.

Before being named ISG President, Pierpoint served as vice president and general manager of the Internet Infrastructure business within the Communications Solutions Group at Keysight Technologies, where he was responsible for developing and delivering solutions across the commercial communications network from network access points to data centers and the cloud. Prior to this, he led Keysight's move in modular products, growing the business to over $150 million in FY15.

Pierpoint joined the company in 1987, when it was still part of Hewlett-Packard. He has held multiple management positions in R&D, sales, marketing, and operations across various businesses within Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies in both the United States and Europe.

Pierpoint holds a Ph.D. in Microwave Engineering, and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds in the UK.

As Keysight’s CMO, Marie Hattar is responsible for the company’s brand and global marketing efforts. She drives Keysight's corporate positioning, messaging, and communications to both internal and external audiences. Previously, Hattar was CMO at Ixia and at Check Point Software Technologies where she reestablished those companies as leaders in their industries. Prior to that, she was Vice President at Cisco where she led the company's enterprise networking and security portfolio and helped drive the company's leadership in networking. Hattar received a master's degree in Business Administration in Marketing from York University and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University.

Prior to joining EMA, Shamus was the news director for TechTarget’s networking publications. He led the news team's coverage of all networking topics, from infrastructure to management. He has published hundreds of articles about the networking industry. Shamus was a founding editor of TechTarget’s website SearchSDN.com, a leading resource for technical information and news on the software-defined networking industry.

Shamus was previously a daily newspaper journalist who covered crime, education, government, and politics. He has also worked at the international publisher Cambridge University Press, where he edited and marketed books on electrical engineering and software development.

Kailash Narayanan is Vice President and General Manager of Keysight’s wireless test business. He is responsible for R&D, product and solution development, marketing and sales, and delivery to the wireless ecosystem that includes chipset and device makers, contract manufacturers, and service providers.

Kailash has a 20+ year tenure with Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Keysight during which he has held management positions in R&D, manufacturing and in businesses spanning wireline backhaul, base stations, electronic components, wireless handsets, and fiber optics.

He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago and an MBA from Walden University.

Emil Olbrich

Emil is VP of Networks industry analyst at Signals Research Group, founder of PrimeLime, which delivers industry leading consulting and hands-on research for industries interested in mobile communications. He also is an instructor at 5G-Courses.com where he teaches engineering courses on 5G technology. Emil Olbrich has over 25 years of experience in the field of wireless telecommunications where he has led team efforts in standards work, development and deployments at some of the largest telecommunication companies in the world – such as Motorola, Qualcomm and Ericsson. He was head of LTE research, development, test and evaluation for the US Department of Commerce technology labs where he deployed the first and most diverse Public Safety 700 MHz LTE test lab in the world with over 70 participating vendors and commercial carriers. Mr. Olbrich was responsible for the specifying, deploying and maintaining the entire ecosystem of LTE which included devices, air interface, transport, radio access network, evolved packet core, IP networking, IMS core and application servers.

Siegfried (Sigi) Gross is managing director (chairman) of Keysight Technologies in Germany, as well as vice president and general manager for the company’s Automotive and Energy Solutions within the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group. Sigi joined Hewlett-Packard in 1984 and has held a variety of general manager, R&D, and engineering leadership roles through the transitions to Agilent and now Keysight. Sigi holds a degree in electronics engineering from the Berufsakademie Stuttgart.

Dr. Jenna Pollock

Sr. Staff Engineer, Electromagnetic Design, SERES

Dr. Jennifer Della Pollock, "Jenna", specializes in the design of custom magnetic components for power conversion systems. She has spent the last 8+ years designing small, efficient and low-cost magnetic components for custom power conversion systems for automotive, energy storage and wireless power transfer applications at Tesla Motors, Pi Charging, Apple, Resonant Link, and SERES. She earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in 2008 as a member of the Magnetic Component and Power Electronics Research Group. She has authored several publications and holds two U.S. patents pertaining to her work on magnetic component design for power conversion applications. Pollock completed a B.A. in economics and women's studies at the University of New Hampshire, an A.E. in civil environmental engineering technology from Vermont Technical College, and a B.S. in environmental engineering from the University of Vermont.

Joachim Peerlings is vice president and general manager of the Network and Data Center Solutions business within Keysight’s Communications Solutions Group. In his role, he leads the development of wireline and data center solutions.

During his nearly 20-year tenure at Hewlett Packard/Agilent/Keysight, Joachim has served in a variety of management roles spanning marketing, business development, and product management.

He holds a Ph.D. in electronics from Darmstadt University of Technology and a degree in electrical engineering from Duisburg University of Technology. He also holds several U.S. patents.

Michael R. Krause

Michael Krause supports the HP Servers area of the Enterprise Group, where he is focused on developing new computer and memory architectures and developing HP strategies on a range of technologies. In a career spanning nearly three decades at HP, Krause has worked in a variety of positions developing deep expertise in I/O, OS, storage, memory, virtualization, and high-speed network and fabric architectures. He also chairs the HP Servers Technical Career Path Promotion Board and is active in mentoring and developing HP’s technical community. Widely admired as an inventor, Krause has co-developed and led HP in the creation of numerous technologies including PCI Express, InfiniBand, single and multi-Root I/O Virtualization, ATS, RDMA, M-PCIe, HMC, and Ethernet DCB / EVB. He has also been an active contributor to key industry associations, including the PCI-SIG, IETF, IEEE, DMTF, InfiniBand TA, and USB-IF. Most recently, Michael conceived and drove the creation of Gen-Z (genzconsortium.org). Krause received his B.S. and M.S. in computer engineering from San Jose State University.

Recep Ozdag is the GM and VP of product management of Keysight’s Network Visibility Division (NVS). NVS provides end-to-end, real-time visibility and monitoring into entire networks for fast, reliable, and accurate analysis of network performance and security. The NVS portfolio includes solutions for enterprise and service provider data centers as well as private and public cloud deployments.

Prior to joining Ixia, Recep was a Senior Director of Solutions Marketing within Ciena’s Blue Planet division. In this role, Recep was responsible for the go-to-market strategy for Ciena’s SDN and NFV Platform.

Prior to joining Ciena, Recep was in product marketing at Intel’s switch division leading Intel’s SDN switch and router marketing efforts as well as launching Intel’s SDN and NFV initiative; the Open Network Platform. Recep joined Intel through the Fulcrum Microsystems acquisition.

Recep Ozdag has received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and his MBA from the University of California Los Angeles. Recep, He has been a frequent speaker at industry events.

Joe Rickert is vice president for the high-frequency measurement center of excellence and product management in the Communications Solutions Group at Keysight Technologies. His teams are responsible for R&D, product management, innovation, and growth for network analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, and transceivers.

Since joining Hewlett Packard/Agilent/Keysight in 1995, Joe has held various engineering and management positions in manufacturing, R&D, and marketing. Prior to joining the company, he worked in the aerospace industry.

Joe holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University.
