The E3238S/N6820E was specifically designed for general signal monitoring, including international defense agencies, regulatory agencies, EMI/RFI range testing and frequency managers. Unlike swept analyzers, this system provides fast wide spectral search and high resolution. You can detect small signals next to large ones and near the noise level. You can capture data on intermittent, short-duration signals. The energy detection features of the E3238S/N6820E provide data on only your signals of interest, not the entire spectrum, making you more effective. Alarms and numerous tasks automate the entire data collection process for high productivity. Capturing signal data is very flexible with post processing and analysis tools and built-in optional narrowband channels. These narrowband channels are low cost hand-off receivers.
