Description

Create standard-compliant DVB-T/H/C waveforms
Signal Studio for DVB enables you to easily create DVB-T, DVB-H, and DVB-C waveforms. Playback your waveforms using the E4438C ESG or E8267D PSG, high-performance vector signal generators that supports a wide range of applications including cellular and wireless connectivity communications. From a simple graphical user interface specify channel coding and modulation parameters, OFDM frame structure, and TPS information to create DVB signals that meet your specific receiver and component test needs.

Test DVB-H handheld devices
Engineers incorporating digital TV into handheld devices can create test signals in compliance with the new DVB-H standard. Generate waveforms for use in BER tests using a general-purpose instrument that also supports a variety of mobile and wireless connectivity formats.

Evaluate DVB-T/C receivers
Verify receiver performance by adding real-time AWGN and I/Q impairments to fully channel coded DVB-T/H/C signals. Or, monitor video at the receiver by supplying your own MPEG file as source data.

Typical applications
