PathWave System DesignPathWave System Design (SystemVue) 2020 Update 1.0 is a major update release. It continues the focused effort to make system simulation usable by all levels of system engineers by connecting circuit design, RF system design, baseband design, and hardware test together in a single platform.

RF system modeling enhancements for improved amplifier and mixer fidelity

  • Addressed differences between frequency and time domain signals and intermods for mixer and amplifier
  • Improved amplifier and mixer intermodulation modeling when using frequency comb input

Improved receiver modeling through support of automatic gain/level control models incorporating distortion

  • Var_amp and ATTN_Ctrl are now supported in Dataflow simulation through RF_Link
  • New example of receiver performance with VGA included

Phased array antenna modeling improvements for dense array structures such as Radar and EW applications

  • Dataflow PA models now support overlapped subarrays, enabling generation of multiple beams in a single simulation
