Description
The MBP 2012.07 software release includes the following improvements and enhancements.
New License Module
- Changed FlexNet licensing software to be consistent with other Keysight EEsof EDA products
(FlexNet version 11.9.1.2 with the agileesofd vendor daemon in this release) - Updated license features
Upgraded Default Java Version
Upgraded the JDK version to jdk1.6.0_33 with:
- Improved compatibility with Windows 7
- Improved stability of runtime environment
- Additional utilities

The new models supported by the internal engine in MBP include:
- HiSIM2 2.6.1
- HiSIM_HV 2.0.0
- BSIM6 Beta7
- BSIM-CMG 106.0.0, 105.04

- Improved document structure

Built-in Data Converter for MOSFET .mdm Files
The built-in converter can convert .mdm data to .mea data which is supported by MBP. Now it only supports MOSFET DC, CV and RF data conversion.
Other Improvements
- In mismatch plot, the constants in the equation are expressed by scientific notation
- A warning window will pop up if there is one file with the same name in the targeted folder when exporting data
- MBP 2012.07 enables data tables to be exported to text files in the IMV page
- Script enhancement: IMV script can differentiate among different groups of data
