Software Options for Mobile WiMAX Signal Creation and Fading

The N5106A Option WMX is a software application bundle created for ordering convenience. It includes the N5106A-RFP Mobile WiMAX MIMO channel models and N7615B Signal Studio for 802.16 WiMAX software with Options 6FP, EFP, QFP, and RFP to provide basic and advanced Mobile WiMAX signal creation.

Typical application

N5106A-WMX is recommended for users who need both Mobile WiMAX signal generation and MIMO fading. Additional hardware options for the N5106A are required to provide the appropriate DSP blocks and I/O cards. For playback of waveform files, N5106A-EFP for baseband generation is also required. For fading, N5106A-QFP for fading with SISO channel models is also required, and N5106A-JFP for calibrated AWGN is also recommended. These options can be ordered separately or as a hardware/firmware MIMO convenience bundle.
