Keysight Virtual Drive Testing Toolset

Keysight’s Virtual Drive Testing (VDT) Toolset enables users to evaluate, characterize, and optimize the performance of 5G NR mobile devices, chipsets and network infrastructure. VDT Toolset provides tools across the entire device and base station R&D workflows and supports performance compliance testing. VDT toolset seamlessly integrate Keysight’s industry leading PROPSIM F64 and PROPSIM FS16 5G channel emulators, 5G Network Emulation Solutions and Keysight Nemo field measurement solutions.

VDT Toolset is an automated, lab-based performance and interoperability test solution that allow users to perform repeatable and realistic in-lab testing under field like mobility scenarios. It supports supplementary test plans for verifying the mobile device performance in high-speed train scenarios in China Mobile’s network.

VDT toolset creates a representation of real-world conditions without the need for comprehensive analysis and simulation of the environment. It uses data captured in the field to build tests that replay drive or indoor test routes by emulating real-world RF network conditions in a controlled laboratory environment. This replay can be performed using real network infrastructure or Keysight's network emulator to simulate the network.
