Signal analysis
- Complies with 3GPP2 standard of physical layer specifications C.S0024 (Rel.0, Rev.A, and Rev.B) including Subtype 0/1/2/3
- Base station (forward link) and mobile station (reverse link) RF transmitter measurements; analog baseband measurements with PXA BBIQ or MXA BBIQ hardware
- One-button measurements with pass/fail per the standard
- Runs inside PXA, MXA, and EXA signal analyzers and VXT PXIe vector transceivers

The 1xEV-DO measurement application is one in a common library of more than 25 measurement applications in the Keysight X-Series, an evolutionary approach to signal analysis that spans instrumentation, measurements, and software. Transforming the X-Series signal analyzers into standard-based transmitter testers, the application provides fast one-button RF conformance measurements to help you design, evaluate and manufacture your cdma2000® 1xEV-DO RF transmitters. The measurement application is fully standard compliant to the 3GPP2 (Rel.0, Rev.A and Rev.B) helping you to check your 1xEV-DO design with confidence and support manufacturing with single application covering 1xEV-DO technologies for production.
RF transmitter testing
- Full power and spectrum suite measurements with Pass/Fail indicator: channel power, power vs. time (forward link only), adjacent channel power, spectrum emission mask (SEM), spurious emissions, occupied bandwidth(OBW), and complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF)
- Pre-defined measurement settings help the modulation quality of pilot, MAC, data, preamble, overall-1, and overall-2 channels separately and easily
- Support 1xEV-DO Rev B with 64QAM auto-detection, modulation analysis, preamble Walsh code length to 128 for forward link. For reverse link, it supports a “No Feedback Multiplexing” mode for single and multi carriers
- Add real-time spectrum analyzer (RTSA) capability to the PXA or MXA signal analyzers to pinpoint interference caused by the multi-carrier cdma2000 and 1xEV-DO signals or other events in the transmitter
