The A.02.00 ESA to 89601A Software Link Utility can be obtained using one of the following two methods:

  • Download the software from this site for free to a Microsoft Windows based PC
  • Order an E440xBU-231 upgrade kit.

Note: This utility is only for use with ESA-E Series Spectrum Analyzers with Option B7D and B7E, with firmware version A.08.04 or newer. If you have Option 229, Modulation Analysis, you should upgrade that personality to the latest version instead of loading this utility, as this will be include in the latest version.

The "ESA Personality Installation Procedure" will guide you through:

  • Downloading the installation image
  • Creating an installation floppy disk set
  • Loading the software into your ESA
  • Verifying the installation
