E4991A RF Impedance/Material Analyzer Firmware Update
Download Instructions for Firmware
- Select and Click on the "E4991A Firmware Revision 1.01" or "E4991A Firmware Revision 2.XX" according to the serial prefix of E4991A listed at below NOTE. Copy the file (.exe) to a temporary directory (e.g. C:TEMP) on your computer's hard drive.
- Extract the files by selecting the temporary directory and unzip the .exe file by double-clicking on the file.
- Click the "Firmware Update Procedure" listed below the page. The procedure to update the firmware will appear.
- Copy the files to three floppy disks using your computer's FDD and install the new firmware into the E4991A in accordance with the procedure.
Note:
"E4991A Firmware Revision 1.01" is for E4991A with serial prefix JP1KH, JP2KH, and MY432 ONLY.
"E4991A Firmware Revision 2.XX" is for E4991A with serial prefix MY433 and later ONLY.
