VISA COM: 34950A and VB.NET User Generated Trace Example


This program is an example program that can be used to generate a user defined trace
on the 34950A module. The user can select/enter all the appropriate parameters and
generate a waveform. The parameters are: Clock Source, Channel Width, Logic Polarity,
High Level Value, Handshake Rate, Number of Times for Trace Output, Slot and Channel
Number, and trace data entry. The program uses the Synchronous Strobe for the trace.

This program uses the Agilent VISACom COM objects to program the instrument.
To use the IO object in another Visual Basic project, set the reference to
add the appropriate libraries in the Project/References menu and Com tab:
      VISA COM 3.0 Type Library

VISA Com comes with the Agilent I/O Library Suite 14.0 or above


The program was developed in Microsoft(r) Visual Basic .NET 2003 version 7.1
